What the O!
This week's edition of "What the O!" can be expressed by simply this...
A certain person (to go un-named) asked me this question earlier in the week, "What the heck is queso?" ... and I am speechless.

I've never found it necessary to comment on the blog, but ... WHAT????

Ouch. Sad. Feelings and thoughts that I cannot fully express.

Leigh, I think that last post was a haiku.
In case-O! some readers don't know, I'll tell them... processed cheese food and that stuff from New York City, right? (Pace?)
unbelievable.
Clatterbuck,
If it was a haiku, it was fully intended. ;)
The comment about "processed cheese food and Pace" suggests that perhaps the ignorance of queso is not limited to a few. I am troubled.
Perhaps people simply have different definitions of what queso is. To me, queso is simply chees in Spanish. "I want some queso on my burger...pepperjack, if ya have it." I realize the queso you are talking about is not the same. Kensal/will, perhaps you can enlighten us. What is the commonly accepted definition of queso in Texas?
woops...Kendal, sorry about the misspelling of your name
All true: I am lactose intolerant. I went to a local fast food taco place and ordered something that was pictured on their menu. Seeing the picture, I ordered it with "no cheese and no sour cream." I received it with cheese all over it. I restated that I wanted "no cheese". The young lady informed me, "that's not cheese; that's queso."
