i appreciate this picture even more--yesterday my History of American Protestant Thought class went to the Billy Graham Center meuseum. They had an exhibit of prtriats of Jesus. The primary characteristic of all the sterile, white, upper-middle class "Jesus"es depicted there was gentleness (i.e. a sissy). It doesn't do a lot for my confidence in Jesus ability to defeat Satan, sin & death if He looks like I could beat him up
