Hulkmania Church

If church is a people, not a place... someone should tell these guys. I have seen a lot of attempts at church marketing, but this is taking it to a whole new level... sucka!

Although I must say... if I lived in Dallas... the idea of seeing the Hulkster at church on Sunday morning might be really tempting. Will, can you check this out while you're on vacation??

... (speechless)

That was surreal. You couldn't come up with a more wickedly funny satire if you tried, but I think the "pastor blaster" is serious. Proof positive that truth is stranger (and more hilarious) than fiction.

I'm glad the comment thread is working again, because I was thinking to myself: if Lane doesn't have something to say about this video, he is either dead or he has fallen away from Jesus!

The link is no longer working. Hulk must have felt the pressure from CD. However, I found a video of him and the pastor talking about him becoming a "Christian". Hulk describes it as, "When I was 14, I said the words 'Jesus Christ is my savior'. It happened by accident" This is the problem with a church that is about numbers. First, we are teaching people that if they can say "Jesus Christ is my savior", then they can rest in eternal life. Where is the transformation? The old being made to new? Second, there is a lose of God in our society. "It happened by accident". Really Hulk? No one had a hand in that? So, you saved yourself, with your words that came from your mouth? This demonstrates the lose of a personal relationship with God. This also demonstrates that we are teaching people that YOU just have to say some words and eternal life is yours. Anyone that reads the bible will find this to be farthest from the truth. Oh, yeah, Hulks favorite bible verse is John 3:16. Who would have guessed.

Tyler, repent of your stone-casting or the Hulkster will likely piledrive you.

But you are right on in your comments.
