Lane Hoffman?

This photo is posted here so that you can assess the validity of Derrick's comment from last week:

i watched the graduate last week and it turns out that lane looks exactly like dustin hoffman did at 25. its seriously freaky.

Hoffman, in a scene from The Graduate, on the left. Our beloved Lane on the right. Your thoughts?

This is outrageous.

Though it is a pretty good likeness.

Hhhhmmmm... I think it's a little far fetched; Lane's better looking than DHoffman. ;)

Here's another one: I've heard people say that they think Evan (Freemyer) looks like Tom Cruise, but I watched "The Mirror Has Two Faces" last week, and I'm pretty sure that Evan and PIERCE BROSNAN just might be related.

Why fill your mind with filth like The Graduate? Aren't there better things for Christians to be thinking about than young boys having sex with their girlfriends' mothers? How can a young man keep his way pure?

dc, you make a valid point. However, it might do you well to attend the Coram Deo worship service this coming Sunday, when we will talk about the sin of the judgmental moralist as taught in Romans 2:1-16.

The best thing to come from the movie "The Graduate" would have to be the Simon and Garfunkel song, Mrs. Robinson.

i'm not sure that picture quite does it justice. even so, i stand by my position. it is uncanny.

while we have a pointless thread about movies going, i might as well throw out another: has anyone seen shadowlands? i suspect bob has. i watched it a couple of days ago, and it kind of makes me want to be c.s. lewis. i'm not kidding. maybe i will settle with naming my kid after him. someone already took 'lewis,' so maybe i'll go with clive or staples.

if you guys can't tell, i have been watching a lot of movies. the surf has been pretty flat/messy lately. i hope you're all enjoying the midwest.

ooo, please don't take Clive! I'm reserving that in case I ever have kids.
